The manhole cover is one of the most essential safety components installed on the top of petroleum tanker trucks that serves as an emergency vent and pressure relief system, preventing tank rupture by allowing rapid venting in the event of internal overpressure, while also acting as a secure access point for maintenance and inspection. Standard sizes include 16-inch and 20-inch diameters, with common inspection port sizes of 250 mm and 300 mm, making them compatible with almost all fuel tanker models used globally.
Each manhole cover is equipped with features such as a blind port for optional installation of an optical sensor, vapor vent valve, dip tube, or other accessories.
